In-person tournament · Manrique, Medellín
Still craving the World Cup? Now it’s your turn to play.
An in-person FC26 tournament on PS5 with a World Cup format, national teams, standings, results and the full VORTEX experience: gaming, music, community, content and digital opportunities.
After experiencing the World Cup, many people still want to compete, represent a country, play with friends and feel the pressure of a real cup. VORTEX turns that energy into an in-person tournament in Manrique.
FC26 World Mode Manrique is for those who want to experience their own cup, represent a national team and appear in the VORTEX system.
The ideal format is a VORTEX World Cup with up to 48 national teams. The final format adapts to the number of registered participants and is announced before play begins.
Up to 48 selecciones. Solo selecciones nacionales, no clubes.
Groups of national teams that determine who advances to the next round.
Single-match knockout ties: lose and you are out, all the way to the final.
Grand final and optional third-place match according to the VORTEX-defined format.
Results recorded in the VORTEX system from start to finish.
Standings visible to players and the community throughout the tournament.
There will not always be 48 players; the format adapts to filled spots.
The final format is announced publicly before the tournament begins.
One spot equals one national team. A player may hold more than one team only if VORTEX opens additional spots to complete the format.
48 national teams, 12 groups, two consoles and an intelligent table that adapts the tournament to the actual number of players.
VORTEX World Mode does not try to copy a month-long World Cup. It is designed for fast, competitive, in-person events. The page calculates how to allocate teams, organize groups and control the knockout stage according to the number of players.
To keep competition fair, VORTEX limits how many teams one player may retain in later stages. The limit may vary in the Round of 32 and Round of 16 according to participant count, but from the quarterfinals onward only one active team per player remains. If a player qualifies with more than one team, they choose their primary team and the remaining places pass to the best-performing eliminated teams of other players.
| Jugadores | Team allocation | Groups | Clasifican | R32 limit | Round of 16 limit | Cuartos+ |

Automatic calculations use 48 fixed teams. Recommended per-player limits are R32 = 32 ÷ players and Round of 16 = 16 ÷ players, rounded up; from the quarterfinals onward, always one active team per player. The VORTEX Committee confirms the final format before the event.
The system adapts to the number of filled spots. Choose a scenario to see how it would work. VORTEX defines and announces the exact qualification format before play begins.
The top teams qualify under the official format defined by VORTEX before the start, followed by direct elimination through the final.
Two qualify per group, followed by the Round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinal and final.
Qualification according to overall standings and the format announced before the event.
Two qualify per group, followed by quarterfinals, semifinal and final.
All spots pay the same registration fee. Team-selection order is determined through a live VORTEX draw/draft. Once selected, a team is locked. VORTEX prioritizes equality, transparency and entertainment.
Equal registration · Transparent draft · Entertainment for the community.
Clear rules keep play fair and smooth. VORTEX may adjust operational rules before the official start and will announce them publicly.
The prize pool depends on the number of registered spots and will be announced before the tournament officially begins. More players make the pool stronger and the event larger.
This tournament uses the same digital-system spirit as World Challenge and Final Stage. Every match, goal and result positions you in the VORTEX system.
